When I was in Lake Geneva, Wisc on Saturday, I ate “white nuggets” – I was kind of afraid to ask what that was. Turned out, they were fried cheese curds. I dipped them in cheese sauce. Cheese on cheese is brilliant.

I’m thinking maybe Mars Cheese Castle in Kenosha (its the pretty much as close to Chicago as you can get without leaving WI). I have family there, so I can camp out overnight and not have to worry about driving back. Keep your eyes open on the forum for dates/time proposals in the near future

but seriously, vermont people are weird. he will only buy vermont cheese if we are getting nice cheeses, only vermont maple syrup, he goes on and on about creamys… and everyone else who i have met from vermont is the same way. its like a little cult or something.. lol

It’s goin’. We’re all moved in to our new place (well, one side of it). In about a month, my mom will be moving to her side of our new duplex. He’s not home yet, but will be in October (yay!!), so there is an end in sight now. It will be weird to have him home, but it will be great. Mostly I just keep busy with obnoxious work hours and fill every possible minute of my day, which is why my mom and I are going for a massage together – we both need to relax.

If I hope you show up hard enough, maybe you’ll just show up! I like to try to “will” things that way. It usually doesn’t work. Like, if I’m worried it’s going to rain, I do NOT bring an umbrella to try to will it not to rain. I do the same thing with my periods. I purposefully do not carry tampons, to try to will my period away.
