Hey does anyone know of any websites that give cool/good career advice and interesting articles? Not just for finding a job, but getting ahead in work once you’re there? So far I’ve just been reading the career section of the marie claire website but it’s pretty sparse.

Are you looking for something free? Off the top of my head, I know some paid ones (but they’re more like magazines, periodicals). There’s the Harvard Business Review, Fortune, and the Wall Street Journal (sometimes). Most libraries should have them in hard copy (I know it’s not as convenient as hopping over to a website, though).
I have class and stuff tonight, but I’ll try to search a little bit more for resources they push at school ;)

So I checked, and I thought I had more available, but I can’t seem to find any. Here’s a blog recommended by one of our career advisors: http://career.alltop.com/

If I come across more during classes, I’ll pass them along.

You should check out this website that I sometimes write articles for called The Levo League: http://www.levoleague.com It’s a site completely focused on helping young women excel in the workplace. Hope you like it!
