I’m going to be in Austin the weekend of April 28th for a friend’s weekend. Are there any Austinites (besides my sister) who might be interested in meeting up? I am envisioning queso and margaritas.

Surely there are a lot of Austin readers, no? Well, if I’m out of a job by then and if I’ve started this long road trip I dream of, and If i’m near Austin at that time, I’ll come. That’s a lot of ifs.

I am a few hours from Austin (Dallas) and I like to visit often. If there is a meet up, I will arrange to come down that weekend! You can never have enough queso or margaritas.

The 29th would work for me. How about Gueros Taco Bar at, like, I don’t know 1 PM? Last time I was in Austin I was pregnant, so I’m excited I’ll be able to drink this time!

I’m in! Does anyone have an address for Guero’s? I will be driving in, and that wasn’t one of the places we hung out at in college. I’m always 100% in favor of Tex-Mex, though.

I probably can’t make it, but I have heard from a friend of mine that Torchy’s Tacos is really good. If you wanted a suggestion other than Gueros.
