Torchy’s is very good, but what location? There is one off of 1st street, and then one off of S. Lamar, and God knows where else in Austin. I’m going to say nay on Gueros, I found it to be little better than Taco Cabana. What about Juan in a Million? one location, at least there, we are getting a little more authentic. Catch is it is open til 3.

We are still on for the 29th at 1 PM. I need to decide on a place — having second thoughts about Gueros. Watch this spot for an update in the next day or two (I’ll also announce on the main page), but in the meantime, mark your calendar.

I’ll be there with Drew and Jackson (most likely), as well as my sister (also a redhead). I’m sure I’ve posted enough photos that anyone coming will be able to find us. I’d like to make reservations, so please confirm here if you’ll be going so I have a rough headcount.

It was great – got _s_, Wendy, Auntie Allie, Drew and Jackson ( and _s_ and myself). Good food, great conversation, and BABY!!!!

It was so great meeting everyone yesterday – those of you who live in Austin, I’ll be back in July sometime, so if you’re free we should do it again!

I did! He’s totally adorable and happy and sooo content to chill out on a lap while the grownups talk. He and Drew were, by some completely precious accident, wearing almost-matching checked button downs. It was kind of the cutest thing in the world.
