ok, google failed me, so I am going to draw from the creativity of the DW community.
I have these 3 tiny jars I got in a set of kitchen jars for christmas. the biggest one could probably hold a lowball glass of liquid, and the smallest could maybe hold a shot and a half. I use the actual big jars for like flour and sugar and stuff but I have nothing to put in these little ones. so, i was thinking that I could put some ribbon on them with a little tag of something cute and funny…. like, “angel kisses”, but something much less lame.
you know those jars you can buy at hallmark that say things like vacation fund or whatever? im going for that but with cute and funny things that might not actually exist. AND what would be even cooler is if they all made sense together in the set of three.
OK GO!!
June 8, 2012 at 7:43 pm #29342What abut see no evil, hear no evil and speak no evil? I’m not sure what you would put for all three – but I like the concept! Do you want to give them as gifts though? Or keep them for yourself?
June 8, 2012 at 7:48 pm #29343thats a good idea!
yea i love things in three.
i think im just going to keep them… this is that kind of thing i think people would think would be totally dumb to get as a gift.. lol. its just me and my own love of scrapbooking stuff.
June 8, 2012 at 7:49 pm #29344and it could totally be heard evil, spoken evil, and seen evil… haha thats cool
June 8, 2012 at 9:00 pm #29348Haha you could do that! And then write stuff on little slips to put in the jar. I would fill the jars with candy, but that’s just me and my sweet tooth.
June 8, 2012 at 10:48 pm #29356This is so totally lame, but…what if you made like a little sign for them that said something like “lemonade (or chocolate chip cookies) – 50 cents” and then spell/write it all cutesy little kid like. Then use the jars for seasonal smelling candles. Lemony stuff for summer, cookie stuff for winter. And if they would not be good for real candles, maybe some scentsy stuff or whatever.
June 9, 2012 at 12:38 am #29365You could do something like “Zoe’s College Fund.” You know, because she doesn’t really need a college fund as she’s a cat.
Or maybe do something that’s a play on opinions being $.02 and how annoying unsolicited advice can be?
June 9, 2012 at 9:17 am #29370ohh good ideas guys!!
June 11, 2012 at 9:17 am #29448ok, its now monday, which means everyone should have their brains all ready and waiting for work… so take that brain power and give it to me!!! haha
