Can’t believe this one didn’t have a post already. Anybody else in love with this show? It was announced yesterday that season 7 starts in September and I can’t wait for it. The cliff hanger at the end of season 6…June 22, 2012 at 11:23 am #31137
ZOMG – DEB!
Yea, I feel like the show is getting kind of worse as it goes on, but I’m excited to see what they do with her new enlightenment. I really hope it nixxes any chance of Dexbrah (or Debter if you prefer).June 22, 2012 at 3:08 pm #31203
I did like the first season, but i’m having issues staying interested through the second. i liked the book i read from that series, but meh. i dont know.June 22, 2012 at 4:54 pm #31225
This show is completely awesome. I’ve liked all of the seasons pretty steadily until season 6, which I found a bit lacking, but the cliffhanger was great and has me really looking forward to season 7.
I’m not sure the show has too much life left in it, but overall it’s been a pretty fabulous series.July 14, 2012 at 3:55 pm #33688

Is noone watching the new season? Seriously?! Episode 3 was out yesterday! D:October 15, 2012 at 5:19 pm #42548
I’m watching- and of course, everything is still crazy. Does anybody else think that the series should be renamed “Deb has the worst life, ever”?October 15, 2012 at 5:39 pm #42549
As a fan of the book series, I was disappointed with the tv series. I’m a snob, what can I say? I did like the first season, up until the last episode. When they deviated from the book plot. Then I was pissed. The second season? So not the book (which irritates me). They tried to kind of bring it back for the 3rd/4th season a bit, but I got so frustrated I gave up and haven’t watched since then. I’ll stick with the books, and from what I’m hearing from my co-workers, it’s deviated so much that I would never be able to watch.
It’s the same way with me watching John Grisham movies. Can’t do it. Ever. I get too pissy at the deviations. And he’s devolved to writing formulaic screenplays now anyways, so it appears I haven’t missed any decent books of his since The Painted House, Bleachers or The Juror… all at least 5-6 years ago.
I won’t even watch the second (and final) season of Legend of the Seeker for deviating from the book series (Sword of Truth) and fucking it all up. Even if the author was helping to write it and gave express permission for it.October 15, 2012 at 5:51 pm #42551
Most definitely watching this season. I haven’t had a chance to sit down to watch episode 3 yet, though. Dexter is one of the few shows I make sure I watch weekly.
I can’t remember where, but I read somewhere that said they are planning on just one more season after this one and they already know how they want to end the show.October 15, 2012 at 9:38 pm #42564
One more? I had heard that this one was going to be the last one. That’s why, I figured, everything feels so rushed. I don’t want to spoil episode 3, but thing develop FAST
And yeah, I was thinking about all that Deb went through with Lundy and that psychiatrist and now this… And by the way, the therapist she was seeing was a psychiatrist, not a counselor or even a psychologist! I thought psychiatrists were more about pills and less about talk.October 15, 2012 at 10:14 pm #42568
Just watched episode 3!
I read the thing about there being a season 8 on wikipedia. Seems like season 7-8 might be more of a continuous story.
Also, yeah, seriously, Deb’s life sucks. She deserves a freaking medal or something.October 17, 2012 at 6:43 pm #42852
It’s easier for me to wait a few months and then watch an entire season right in a row, than it is for me to wait a week between each new episode. Once I start I NEED TO SEE THE ENDING ASAP.
