Ah Summer, how I love you! It’s almost 9pm here in Portland and it’s still 75 degrees and light outside.
Anybody ever tried Moose Drool brown ale? I have. In fact, I tried 6 of them watching the NBA finals game tonight at my neighbors house.
Oh God I want a drink right now. I agreed to switch a shift with Cute Coworker so he could go on his trip to Cali and I don’t usually work Thursday nights. The phones have been so busy all night. Why can’t everyone just go to bed? Arg.

Packing my bags to go back home after two weeks visiting old friends, marathoning Twin Peaks and Torchwood alternated (is that even a word?) one episode each with my sister.
We have this drinking game where you drink every time someone says something that could be porn dialog. It worked great for Lord Of The Rings (“This is a good sword, Haleth, son of Hama”). I’m going back to it now. Hugs for everybody.

So… I’m enjoying a nice glass of wine that I received for my birthday and watching the Fresh Prince of Bel Air. I made a tortellini salad tonight and it was awesome! Hope everyone is having nice little dreamy dreams. And if you’re still awake and lurking DW like I am, feel free to post here

In my lurkiness, I was glad to receive some good news that made me feel better about not getting that promotion. I was talking to one of my coworkers and it turns out that one of my good friends who has been working “in the trenches” here for about 7 years got the job after being constantly passed over for so long. She definitely deserved it, so I am happy for her. And there are other positions in that department available that I’ve applied for, so there’s still hope that I might get off third shift.
Congratulations! It’s very mature of you to be able to see that.
Yay Wednesdays. I was just a huge bitch to Ethan on the phone and he’s working out of town and so I feel bad. But he/his work is annoying me. And I’ve had two beers. By myself.
I need a drink. Today I found out that even though I moved into another position my old boss is still finding ways to be superior over me. Now she is taking on auditing all my paper work which is not her job to do. Made for a lovely day of her bitching at me. I’m like dude this is my second week. I only to this job two days a week and my old one three days; I haven’t gotten everything figured out so back off. Plus she is in no way authorized to be auditing my daily business folders. Actually, it was pretty funny watching her try to be superior. Still annoying dealing with her. Ugh.
OKay, welp. I’m drunk. But it’s that over-the-course-of-a-few-hours drunk, where I don’t FEEL woo-hoo drunk. But I probablyyyyyy am.
Damn. I love Scottsdale! I buy ALL my turquoise jewelry there or up in Carefree!!!
