I’ve always been fond of spouting off something like “Just because nothing is outwardly WRONG in a relationship, doesn’t mean it’s RIGHT.” Mostly because we see a lot of people staying in relationships by default, because there’s nothing *bad* about it, per se. And that bugs me!

I also really liked what Anna said on today’s letter regarding monogamy and men claiming it isn’t natural. Something about living in caves and not eating with silverware… so true!

Two things that were said on here that make me laugh when I think of them: Addie’s soda pressing joke and someone who said “holy Whiskey Tango Foxtrot!”

@AnotherWendy – Yes, we do communicate, mostly via text message. We’ve spoken on the phone a couple times. He’s lonely and miserable down there and nowhere close to making enough money to move out of his parents’ house. He’s entertained the possibility of coming back to Ohio but I was dead serious when I said I would only consider taking him back if he comes with an engagement ring, and I’ve made that perfectly clear. I’m not wasting any more of my time.

P.S. Despite all my efforts, I accidentally got drunk again. At lunch. And I’m a good 1.5 hour bike ride away from my hotel. And it’s really hot and sunny. And the salmon salad I just shoved down my throat is *not* sitting well. Otherwise I’m doing really great!!

I think the “holy Whiskey Tango Foxtrot” was me, but I could be mistaken because I hear that said and say it myself all the time. I was distracted by the fact that I also threw out the phrase “town bicycle” and no one loved that If something I said ever gets put on a shirt…well, in a nutshell, I could die happy. It would be the most epic, pinnacle of my life, thank the academy, god and my family, crumple up and throw out the rest of the bucket list, validate my existence moment ever for me.

Hmmm, yes, AP, that WOULD make my life as well! I could forgo having kids, because I’d just put my Team Addie Pray shirt on a pillow and cuddle and pet it all day.

True story, a roommate of mine in college did that with her LD boyfriend’s shirt. Still haven’t decided if I think it’s weird or cute. They’re married now, so I guess cute?
