Sooooo I wrote into the weekend topic about how I was starting to like a guy in class and that I think he liked me too. I decided to say something yesterday after class. We had the usual fun class and then started just hanging out sitting on his car and joking around as usual. I finally looked at him and jokingly said “you should kiss me.” and he replied “really? why is that?” and I said “because you like me.” So he did! We spent a great deal of the night (class is out at 830) walking around the campus which is built on an old fort on the water, then we sat on the wall of the fort and just talked and kissed and decided we’re gonna give it a go! I just wanted to thank peeps for the advice and that I’m really happy I said something, even if things don’t work out I think it’s great that I’ve started coming out of my shell and initiating things!

I commented on your original post on the weekend thread. Yay!!! Now if only I could get out of my shell and stop envisioning the worst case scenario with the guy I’m interested in. (It’s a lot easier to tell someone else to do it than it is to do yourself.)

Yay for all the yays!!!!! So for an update, we had class per usual which felt funny because everything was so normal! It was like I had imagined the whole thing! He walked me to my car again and we stayed out late again and decided to meet up Saturday morning for coffee due to our busy schedules. It’s just wonderful, one of the best birthdays I’ve ever had! My class threw a small surprise party for me and everything! I feel like I have to check the walls for cameras to make sure this isn’t some weird tv show!
