sumilove	Also, can I just say I am a huge towel – my parents and uncle are visiting for my spring break, and I just realized while typing the post above they are coming in THAT MORNING. I’ve been championing a date that I so stupidly cannot come to. Can someone reassure me with the fact that there will be another get together after this one?

Wendy	This is ridiculous that we haven’t had a NY Meetup yet. Those of you who would be interested in meeting up, where do you live? If there are enough Brooklynites interested, maybe we could meet in Prospect Park (close to me!) some sunny Saturday afternoon in the next few weeks. If we’re more spread out, we could do Central Park. I’m open to other options, too, of course, but I love parks, and they’re great for people-watching during awkward silences. Not that there would be awkward silences. We could bring classy boxed wine and frisbees and egg salad sandwiches. I might even bring my hula-hoop and dazzle everyone with my skillz. Who’s in?

Fabelle	I’m in (& yeah, I can’t believe there hasn’t been a NY meetup yet!) I live in central(ish) NJ & am about 25-40 minutes from the city. Central Park would be closer, but whatever’s easiest for the majority, I’m down for

sumilove	I’m leaving the city for 6 months on May 10, so can I request the weekend of May 4/5? Central Park also works for me, though there are some smaller parks in between Brooklyn and there that we could also go to. Washington Square Park’s beautiful, and the Village is always fun to be in!

Addie Pray	And to think, Chicago is having its THIRD meet up in a few weeks… Tsk, tsk, New Yorkers! I haven’t been to NYC in 2 years. I’m long overdue. If I come out, can we do a meetup in Brooklyn? That’s where my best friend lives and where I’d be staying, so you know. …. But of course I’d suggest Brooklyn for Wendy’s convenience, not mine.
