I am getting excited/nervous about this meetup! Sometimes, I’m really really shy when meeting people I don’t know, so please be kind. Even if you see that I have brought a list of conversation topics to keep me on track (“What do you think of recent [pop culture event]?, etc.).

Additionally…in the spirit of Valentine’s Day and having gift cards that needed to be spent and sales, I bought the most amazing red dress that I plan to wear.

Christy, I think we are meeting at 8 if you want to reserve the table for then. Also, I may contact you on FB about heading down together…unless you live in the district. Anyways, I’m also super excited. I’ve been here for about 2.5 years but I still have a hard time meeting people/making friends. Are we all going to wear the same color? Or just have the reservations under Christy’s name so we know where the group is?

Kerry, We could all wear red if you’d like since missmetrodc has a new dress she wants to show off. Or we could steal the Chicago group’s idea and have a little pic of Wendy to put on the table.

This late in the game I don’t know if switching is wise. Hopefully since we’re meeting at 8 the place won’t be too crowded yet. I’ve never been there so I really don’t know.
