XD For fuck’s sake, Brad, you fucking scared me with your title! I have friends in this forum! I come here and then suddenly one of the last published topics is “RAPE” in big scary capital letters, I thought someone was in trouble.

I know it’s a ridiculous reaction and it’s my problem, I’m sure you didn’t mean any harm because you’re always a very sweet and considerate person, and I’m not saying you should never use the word rape again unless it’s in a serious context, but try something like “PARROT RAPE” the next time, will you? I hyperventilated for a second there.

But the video was funny. So I’m willing to put this incident behind us as soon as you send me a big mental hug and a very very loaded mental mojito. =)

My initial reaction was, “WHAT. THE. EFF. Quit beating a dead horse, Brad.”

And then I laughed a lot, for a number of reasons. A) Stephen Fry. Love. He is brilliant and hilarious. B) I love birds and think that parrots and penguins come in only behind dogs as the cutest species on the planet. C) Birds love me. No, really, like the bird loves that guy. I have had a number of experiences with birds that compare to this. I was once chased out of the Houston Zoo aviary because one of the huge birds that look sort of like prettier black and green turkeys kept trying a similar move on me. And my dad has a macaw who has decided I’m her mate – evidently birds aren’t good with gender in humans. Fortunately I don’t get physically assaulted like that, but there’s a lot of grooming and some attempts at feeding me like I’m her baby (think about it).

Heh sorry for the momentary anxiety attack rainbow/savannah but I was just borrowing the tactic the major media outlets use with provocative titles to grab attention (heh and it worked). Figured people could use a little tension relief given the rape debates that’ve been in the comments. And can I just say that the facial expression of that bird when it was on the guys head really makes the video! lol. It has an O face. haha.
