The Maury show – only for our dogs…

I know it is odd but we actually want to test our dogs DNA since we suspect they are Karelian Bear Dogs – but we haven’t been able to find a company in North America that has that type of DNA in their databases since KBDs are pretty rare over here. The dogs are originally from Finland and are more common there – if anyone knows of a company in Europe (or anywhere) that can do the testing – can you let me know? Thanks.

I can’t be of much help, except to say those kind of dogs are awesome! They remind me of my Akita but sorry no I don’t know of any place like that.

Yeah – it was a shot in the dark in case someone worked in the field or had their dogs tested in Europe. I love any dog that still has a little wolf in him – Akitas, Huskies, KBDs…and you have got to love a dog that was bred to hunt bears!
