Has anyone been watching this?! I am obsessed and loving every second of it. I know it is getting criticism for not being realistic as to what a news channel really goes through but it pretty much reflects how I wish I could get my news. I am SO frustrated with political stuff because it is so high school between channels and I just need the facts laid out in front of me. Anyone have any unbiased news sources they like to read for their political info?

Not my cup of tea. It’s just overwrought and maulin in my opinion. And the way they use real event like, say, the Gabrielle Giffords mass shooting — only to turn it into the cheesiest of plotlines? That REALLY rubs me the wrong way.

Really? The thing I like a lot is that they reference real events. But to each their own, obviously they have to throw drama and plotlines in it because it isn’t reality. Where do you like to get your real news from?

I really like how they reference the real world events… how they actually tie in everything to emphasize their style of journalism. In contrast though, I don’t quite like Mac — too idealistic but too clueless for a journalist of the caliber she’s supposed to be.
So far, my fav female on the show is the Economist phd. Yes, she’s also clueless, but in a more realistic way :)
