I got a phone 1 year ago and I have not activated the voice mail because I never listen to my voice mail. This way people don’t get the wrong impression and think I’m going to listen to their message and get all hurt when I tell them I don’t listen to my voice mail. My phone is for my convenience – not yours. And I am not a Millennial.

I like when you say “My phone is for my convenience – not yours”. A year ago I didn’t even have a cellphone and the reasons were simple : I had no money and no use for a cellphone. But people around me went crazy “But HOW AM I GOING TO REACH YOOOUUU ?” Um, I don’t know, send me an email, I check my emails often… Or, you can offer to pay for my phone, I dunno.

Nobody offered to pay for my phone. So I didn’t have one.

Haha, I am the opposite – I listen to voice mail, but rarely read texts. I guess that would make me the ultimate millennial nightmare.

Oh wow. I was not expecting that article about taking her husband’s name to be so heavy. I figured it would be more in the same vein as we were discussing earlier this week (well, I was lurking). I’m glad she found some peace in changing her last name, but that post was super heartbreaking.
