How can employers save tons of money without outsourcing overseas? Hire women, of course! You only have to pay them very much and you never have to pay overtime. Plus, they don’t complain, AND they bring in baked goods to the office. (Oh, and you don’t have to pay for birth control or maternity leave if they do get knocked up!). Pink Sourcing! Aaaah, I’ve got Flash turned off because it kills my memory usage. That’s probably why the video doesn’t work. Thanks for checking!

This narrative that NY is an impossible place to be in a committed relationship is a common one, but it hasn’t been my experience. Then again, I’m from here and every one of my serious relationships has been with another New Yorker, although not on purpose. I’ve casually dated plenty of transplants, and it was a lot fun, but sparks just didn’t happen. The one transplant I semi-seriously dated once said to me “There’s no such thing as bad pizza.” Frankly, I’m not sure why I continued to date him after that lol (I’m only partly joking… pizza is serious business!). Anyway I always kind of figured that a lot men who move here don’t really see NY as “home” so settling down is something that doesn’t fit into their NY narrative, which is usually to be successful at whatever they came here to do. Just a thought, but who knows! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

When I was single, I actually had to come TO New York to find a good man who wanted to commit to me…

I love Tim Gunn, now he needs to practise what he preaches.
