Ahhhhh the grilled cheese is killing me, I’ve been wanting bread and donuts and pasta all week! I turned down a donut just this morning. For some reason this year’s Passover was so much harder than last year. I think you’ve convinced me to make grilled cheese tomorrow night when it’s finally over.

Yesterday was Drew’s bday and since he’s observing Passover, I made him a flour less chocolate cake (it was pretty good!), and tomorrow I’m taking him out to a new pasta and pizza place in the next neighborhood over. I, on the other hand, as a pregnant non-Jew, have been eating enough bread for us both this week.

Oh that cake sounds delicious! I’m jealous. And I think if you’re pregnant over passover, there’s some sort of commandment to eat bread for three (you, Drew, and baby).

I did not know that you couldn’t eat bread over Passover. I even looked it up to see all the rules (about pasta and cake and even beer?!). I learned something new today 🙂 Now I can go home, right?

Yeah, there’s a lot of rules… Some people go by the no lentils/corn/whatever else is on the secondary list of no-go food but I eat those. Actually, I think I’ll make lentils for lunch today!

Yeah… but they’re all locked up in looney bins. They can’t just be allowed to mingle with us normals.

Oh thank goodness. We have a food cart right down the street from my job called Melted and I totally eat there once or twice a week. And all they make is grilled cheese. They have different kinds though, so that’s cool (although I usually get the same thing every time). And we used to have Cheese Melt Café which was like Subway but for grilled cheese. Like pick a bread, pick up to 3 cheeses, pick your meat, pick veggies, and they grill it all up and it was so delicious. I don’t know why they disappeared from both of our malls 🙁 …. I think I want grilled cheese for dinner now.

Mmmm, grilled cheese!! My baby had an awful rash, so his pediatrician told me to stop eating dairy, then soy as well since it wasn’t getting better. We see a specialist on Monday, and I really hope we find out that it’s not dairy. I’m not sure if I can do another 6 months of this. Plus, if grilled cheese =more sex I need to eat more grilled cheese! Maybe it’ll counteract the whole new parents = less sex. That’s how it works, right?
