Here are a few things from around the web that may interest you:

“Nasty woman” becomes the feminist rallying cry Hillary Clinton was waiting for. (I’m still not a Hillary fan, but I’m a fan of feminist rallying cries, and I’m an even bigger fan of defeating Donald Trump and never, ever hearing from his fat, fucking face again.)

Why There Are Way More ‘Nasty Women’ Than Men

Nasty women have much work to do

FYI: There is now a white-and-pink “Nasty Woman” T-shirt available for purchase, with 50 percent of funds going to Planned Parenthood.

For those, like me, who need something to feel excited about this upcoming election day: Paul Ryan warns if Republicans lose the Senate, Bernie Sanders will be Budget Committee chair

I Had a Second Trimester Abortion & I Am Sick Of Hearing Politicians’ Opinions About It

To the First Lady, With Love: Four thank-you notes to Michelle Obama, who has spent the past eight years quietly and confidently changing the course of American history.

I mean, how could they not? Women Are Wavering in Trump County, USA

Thank you to those who submitted links for me to include. If you see something around the web you think DW readers would appreciate, please send me a link to [email protected] and, if it’s a fit, I’ll include it in Friday’s round-up. Thanks!

I saw that Nasty Woman shirt yesterday and totally want one but I’m concerned by the “runs small” note there. Anyone with some back fat own one of those American Apparel tshirts and can tell me how bad it really is?

American Apparal t-shrits are generally not curve-friendly. BUT! You are pregnant, which means you get to wear whatever you want and look cute, and I think a “nasty woman” shirt that supports Planned parenthood would be especially appropriate over a pregnant belly. 😉

It’s the irony that is so precious. One of the nastiest men in America calls Hillary nasty. Republican commentators whom I always felt would vote for and talk up Satan, if he were running for president on the Republican ticket, have declared that they are opposed to Trump and don’t see how any person of conscience or sobriety could vote for him. We truly face the threat of nuclear annihilation, if he is elected. Can’t remember a scarier candidate, in modern times. I understand that half his vote will come from Republicans who always vote R or Republicans concerned about the down ballot or the SC, but it chills me to my core to realize that 20+% of the American electorate will enthusiastically vote Trump, because his bigotry against blacks, Hispanics, women, gays, immigrants, intellectuals, non-Christians appeals to a big dark spot in their souls. With the birther movement, I knew there was a really racist sub=section of our population who could never see a black president as legitimate. I just never allowed myself to believe it was this large a sub-section. There also seems to be a large sub-section which simply cannot accept a woman in the oval office. They rail against Clinton, and I agree she has a ton of warts, but they cheer and go nuts in agreement when Trump assails her in terms that clearly indicate neither he nor they will accept any woman as president.

Yes, and you know what makes it even more depressing? Polling among men shows that as a whole it’s like a normal election year… the gap between men voting for dems vs repubs is in the same range as it is every election. But a bunch of those men must have moved over to Hillary, you’d think – immigrants, blacks, gays, Muslims, etc. If a bunch did, but the gap is no bigger, that means that a bunch of men who would normally have voted dem have now moved over to Trump! Otherwise you’d see a bigger-than-usual gap, right? So a bunch of democrat men have actually gone to Trump. What the actual fuck? I wouldn’t have expected that, at all. The only reason to move over to Trump is that you’re a fan of racism, or that you don’t want a woman as President. It’s really sad.
