Ok, I wasn’t going to post this but I got a bad case from the giggles from my mind not being able to interpret the images correctly. I saw your smiley face at first and thought “why does that smiley face have boobs on top of it?” then I realized it was a heart. Then I was like…. you can make the smiley face have boobs if you want and it would look like this

      :)3<

And there you go, that's what your comment made me shamefully think of and crack up at work. 😛

You´re a stronger woman than I am, Wendy!!!

I´ve only been away from my 4 year old 3 nights, 2 when I was in the hospital having the youngest, and once last weekend, when she decided she had to sleep over at grandma´s.
The longest I´ve been away from the 10 month old is probably less than 2 hours (any longer than that and she´ll probably get withdrawal symptoms, she´s addicted to breastfeeding!!!)

And Jackson honestly gets cuter with every picture you post!

PS, Wendy – What color are his eyes? They look blueish. Or Hazel, maybe. I know you said that most babies are born with blue eyes, and they slowly change into their life-long color. Is this the final product…so to speak? Haha. They’re beautiful!

All babie are born with blue and then they stay blue for at least several months, right? I think so. But everyone in my family has green or blue eyes, so I really don’t know. Guess we need a brown-eyed person to say when their eyes changed (if they know). … So who knows? This is interesting to me. Work is not.

My eldest´s eyes were blue for ages (like a year), but kind of like a dirty blue. Now they´re light brown. My 10 m.o. has really clear blue eyes, that have no sign of changing, apparently. Supposedly by around 6 months it´s the permanent eye colour, but I know several kids that have changed after 1 year or more.
Some friends have a baby (nearly 2 months old),and since birth her eyes have been nearly black, they´re so dark brown.

Sometimes — s o m e t i m e s — the lighting will makes my hair look auburn in pictures, and I rejoice. But there’s definitely no tinge of auburn up in there. Sigh.

My ex-husband was born with brown eyes…but he’s half Japanese, so there ya go. Interestingly, my daughter’s eyes were deep blue for about 5-6 years. Over the last year or so they’ve become more green/hazelish. It’s weird for them to be changing so late. Plus, I miss her blue eyes.

They’re gray now. He’ll be five months old next week, but the ped. says eye color can take up to nine months to a year to settle in. I’ve even heard of eyes changing colors much older than that. I kind of feel like they’re going to stay this color, but that’s probably just wishful thinking. Drew and I are both brown-eyed.

It took almost two years for my youngest to go from a slate blue to a gray-blue to a gray to a gray brown to a browny-gray color. The brown may darken over time, but he’s a muddy brown/gray now.

I was with my friend on her first night away from her baby (the baby was about 6 months old), and it was hard for her at first, but she ended up having lots of fun. Make sure you have lots of pictures on your phone, and call Drew as much as you want, and I’m sure you’ll be fine. Use your time away to relax and enjoy the freedom of doing whatever you want whenever you want!

See what happened was, I said, “Wendy, will you come to Chicago and play with me? I have no plans the weekend of March 3, and I will be bored.” She said, “Ok, let me see if Drew can watch Jackson.” Then I said, “Cool, that’ll work.” And that was that. … Well, it was a little bit like that except a lot different.

I love light brown eyes – the kind that have yellow flecks in them! I have a friend with eyes like that.

My dad had the greenest green eyes, and my mom has blue but they are kind of sad blue – like a grayish blue. My siblings and I are just stuck in the middle – sometimes they look green, sometimes they look blue. Blah. I don’t like indecisive eye color. That doesn’t make sense though, does it.

My oldest has hazel eyes that change to a slate blue sometimes. My 2nd boy has a steel blue and my 3rd has this brilliant shade of blue. I’m a brown-eyed girl myself. All the boys are blondies and I’m a dark auburn/brunette with silver sprinkled in.

I hear you on the indecisive eye colour, mine are the same. When I was younger they were always blue, for the last 10 years or so they´ve been changing more, from blueish to greenish to greyish to yellowish, depending on the day.
It´s a bitch when you have to fill out papers that ask you for eye colour!

Confession: I am very discriminating about babies. I keep my thoughts to myself of course but I do NOT think all babies are cute. In fact, there are plenty that are not. Of all the MANY MANY Facebook babies I virtually know, there are only 2 or 3 that I find to be downright adorable,

So please keep that in mind when I say that JACKSON is absolutely, indisputably, can’t-stop-looking-at-him CUTE. He’s gets my highest stamp of approval. That lower lip? I mean come on!!! The cuteness is ridiculous. And the eyebrows. You cannot NOT coo when you see this baby.

    Sooooo cute. DAMN!
