Hey, did you know I have a Facebook page? I do. You should “like” it if you haven’t already. Then, when you’re farting around on Facebook, you can join in on discussions with your DW pals there, too. And you can be the first to hear all exciting DW news — like that DW has an app now — which there will be more of in coming months. Plus, all the cool kids are doing it.
OK, enough with the sales pitch. I’ve started adding photos of some of the DW Meetups from this year, and if you have any you’d like to share, I’d be so grateful if you’d pass them along. Ahhh, but if I click ‘like’ then all of my FB friends will come to DW & figure out which commenter I am & then start obsessively reading my comments (yes, this is a real fear of mine even though I know nobody probably gives a shit, haha)

On your iphone – when you view dearwendy in safari – there should be a box with an arrow popping out of it in the grey bar at the bottom of the screen.
Tap the box with the arrow and a list of choices will come on the screen. Click “Add to Home Screen” and it should work.

Just a note in case this is helpful: Each time I tried to load one of the longer threads, my “app” gets overwhelmed and it dies (aka closes the apps). This happened on both a strong wifi network and on 3g. Just in case knowing this is helpful. If not, ignore it, I’m not complaining.

My stupid, stupid phone. It took what essentially amounts to a screen cap of the page I had loaded from a few days ago, made the top corner of that an icon, and then when I hit it, what comes up no matter what is that page from a few days ago.
I need this phone to last until December and then I’m getting a new one.
