Dear Wendy
Dear Wendy

Send In Your “His Take” Questions!

I’m currently in the air, en route to Chicago, where I’ve heard a nasty rumor there’s going to be a heat wave for my entire visit. Since I’ll be leaving Chicago for even-hotter St. Louis mid-week, I fear I won’t get relief from the heat for a while. But you know what would make this pregnant, hormonal lady feel a lot better? Letters from you! Specifically, letters for our “His Take” column. I miss hearing from the guys and I know they’ve missed giving their two cents. So, if you’ve got a relationship-themed issue that could use a male perspective, let me know. I’ll pass your letter along to our guys and they’ll give you their best advice. Less writing (and thinking) I have to do while my brain slowly melts down the back of my head and every appendage swells to twice its size. Win-win for everyone!

Welcome to da Lou (when you get here) where you get sunburn in the shade. 🙂

Ugh, word. STL summers are like a visit to the sun, except with humidity.

Lord! I’ll tell ya what! There’s been a terrible heat wave down here in Kentucky for the past week! You step outside and take a breath and I swear you could just keel over. You be careful Wendy. Your body temp is already higher than normal being pregnant and all.

And here I thought the 70-75 F weather in Anchorage (AK) was terrible today. Well, relatively speaking, yes, yes it is – for me. I would NOT want to ever go down to the “Lower 48” and deal with those temperatures. How the hell do you people NOT melt into puddles down there?

I think it’s worse in the Eastern lower half because of the humidity. Here in Southern AZ, it’s a nice, fry-an-egg-on-your-car’s-hood 103*, but it’s a dry heat. It’s easier to not melt into a puddle if you’ve grown up here; I actually LIKE the heat.

It’s nice to know that, for once, So. Florida isn’t the hottest place in the country…Except of course, for that 95-100% humidity factor…

Haha, it actually is cool here in northern AZ. 75-80 degrees every day with beautiful afternoon thunderstorms. I’m loving July!

Because the TV said it, it must be true…but supposedly we are more humid than the amazon up here in Wisconsin right now. All week we are in the 90’s with 70+ percent humidity. SUCK!
