    Miss Dre, why don’t you ask him about moving there? Seems like a perfect time to do so when you are between job.

    I’ve only known the guy for 6 months. I’m not really interested in rushing things. Perhaps if things are still great after 18 months we can start to discuss the possibility of relocating.

    You guyssssss we are heading to France next week!! I’m so excited!

    Is there a way to upload pics here? Was just taking a little break to do some swiping and came across a profile with a picture of a man with the text “DON’T DATE THIS ASSHOLE” written across it in red, bold font. The about me reads, “Craig is a complete liar and super shady. He’ll lie about wanting a relationship, but he’s messing around with multiple women. Don’t let the compliments fool you! He’s got a woman that he lives with (who contacted me by text).” Whoever is behind this Tinder account (spiteful woman who had a bad experience?) also uploaded several screenshots from Craig’s profile.

    So. This is what it’s like out there, and I’m sad.

    Damn @Copa. I don’t know if there’s a way to upload on here but I’d love to see that via DM on Insta if you want! I think that kind of scorned woman/man revenge is becoming more common because I’ve seen a handful of profiles like that the last few years.

    Have you ever heard anything more from the guy who had a death in the family?

    @Copa, OMG. I’m also sad to see what’s out there really. I downloaded Tinder a couple days ago just to see what’s there and got a couple matches. But then I got a little discouraged (I mean, there’s people there that even have pics with their SO’s, because like, why bother?). So I uninstalled it.

    @veritek33 I just sent it you on Instagram! Enjoy! The amount of effort that goes into a revenge account on Tinder — which would require setting up a new Facebook account, right? — baffles me. I understand feeling hurt about a guy who lied about his intentions, but at least the profile I saw today seemed like a woman who went on some dates with a guy and he turned out to be a liar. I’ve been cheated on by long-term boyfriends, so I kinda get the crazy that comes with feeling betrayal, but the revenge profile is absurd.

    And no, I never heard back from Taco Guy, so that was fairly disappointing given how well I thought our last date went. Who knows what happened there — probably someone better came along.

    @Ale
    Every once in awhile, if you read the bios for the couples pics on Tinder, it’s a couple that’s in an open relationship OR a couple looking for someone together. I see a lot of “Girl in my pic is my sister!” remarks in bios.

    Currently talking to a couple nice-seeming guys on Tinder but no dates lined up at the moment. The cutest one is of course the dullest one to text with.

    Yeah, I just ended uninstalling the app. I think it’s too soon to even see what’s out there.
    When my first breakup happened I met a guy just three weeks later. He was very nice and good looking, funny too, and we started talking. He asked me out a couple times and then one day, I finally said yes. We went to a movie and the minute I sat down in the theater I panicked. I excused myself and went to the bathroom, stayed there for like 20 minutes just panicking, crying and being a mess. I contemplated seriously just leaving him there and never coming back. I even started walking towards the exit. But then, I just pulled myself together and went back to the movie. He thought I was sick haha, but he never knew that I was going to leave him there. It was way too soon for me to have a date. And that is what I think now, I almost panicked just browsing through Tinder one of this days.
    That guy I almost ditched is one of my best friends now, I even introduced him to his now wife.

    Yeah, @ale, I actually didn’t really think about who I was responding, but now that I see it’s you, I’d agree it’s probably too soon! And it’s okay if it’s too soon. I started dating before I was ready after my last serious relationship and had something similar happen to me emotionally — I wound up ugly-crying on a bus after my first date with another guy. I was so distraught that I don’t think I even really realized how weird I was being in the moment, but in hindsight I’m super embarrassed. Take time for yourself, and date when you’re ready. I learned from that particular experience that I’m someone who needs significant breaks between a serious relationship and even just casual dating. There’s no rush!

    I kinda of got caught up on this some yesterday.

    @Ale
    yikes. Sorry you’re having such a crap time with your ex. It’s the worst when they emotionally manipulate and then you go “How did I love this person?”

    We’ve all been there.

    Have a good weekend everyone! I’m off to meet my college roommate in Bulgaria for a week! Wish us luck driving around – I hope the signs aren’t all in Cyrillic.
