I learned how to do makeup from Lauren Curtis, especially her older videos. Thank goodness for youtube!January 6, 2017 at 2:31 pm #667703
Yeah, but if she cares about it, she’ll figure it out. And/or get friends to help her.
I also don’t feel like I see teen girls IRL with that much makeup on, just on YouTube.January 6, 2017 at 3:11 pm #667705
I hope so! I’m certainly not going to be much help. 🙂January 6, 2017 at 3:12 pm #667706
These are all great suggestions, thanks so much! I definitely need to look into classes at Sephora, I had no idea they had those! I learn better in a class style being taught by a person, so that might be a really good first step, and then I can move onto YouTube. Because that was a really good point about needing to know what’s best with my coloring and eye shape, face shape, etc.
Also I’m so glad I’m not a teen now either, but more because of social media. Everything you do has the potential to end up on the internet. No thank you.January 6, 2017 at 3:21 pm #667713
Just a head’s up on the Sephora classes – they have a pretty comprehensive list of topics, but I’m not sure every store hosts all the classes – I checked 3 and only 1 had locations near me (I live in a large city).
They do have one on one sessions at any store – I think you have to make a $50 purchase for the 45 minute makeover.
