@CCL, I remember it too. I only went once, I only remember the decor, not the food at all. I guess because East Side Mario’s was already entrenched, Olive Garden didn’t have a shot. They had a big one at the Eaton Centre in Toronto, where Mr. Greenjeans used to be. I loved Mr. Greenjeans as a kid. Actually I was angry at Olive Garden for taking its place, lol. I was like 12, what do you want? 🙂

There are Olive Gardens in Canada-they are paired with Red Lobster-lol. 2 theme places in one convenient locale. The boyfriend sound lame, like he just can’t be bothered…

I’ve never been to a Red Lobster but would go just for the cheddar biscuits I’ve heard so much about.

Back in the early 90’s, Olive Garden was a really good place to go. I have many fond memories of meeting my older sister there on Friday evenings for dinner and drinks to decompress from the week.
But in the last 10 years or so, they have gone down hill and are pretty horrible (at least in my area).

Oh Olive Garden, the ruiner of all good relationships. But those breadsticks though. If they are hot and have lots of the garlicky deliciousness on top, I can eat like 40.

But yeah, LW – Olive Garden isn’t the problem.

I think that the chain restaurant business has become more competitive too, which makes it harder to get away with things, like mediocre food, or ruining this woman’s relationship.

Here’s a quiz that tells you what chain restaurant you are. I’m Cracker Barrel.

I’m TGI Fridays. Which – ironically – I’ve also only been to twice in my life. They burned my food both times….at two different locations.

One of them is Olive Garden.

Btw, I just got one of those Unicorn Frappucinos at Starbucks and it’s pretty awesome. I’m flying on the sugar and caffeine, like a mythical beast.

I’m also Cracker Barrel (fellow Taurus). I hardly ever go to the Cracker Barrel near me. It was a nostalgia thing from when I was young, we would go to the one near my relatives in North Carolina when we visited and I loved it, mainly looking in the shop. The one near me isn’t in some special place so it’s boring to me, as an adult. My mom likes going there though.

i dont know. i feel like this is a one sided story. sometimes, i dont want to go out. i just dont. maybe her bf felt the same way. video games do not always equal obsessive people – i play video games too. maybe he couldn’t afford it. multiple reasons.

i think they both need to grow up.
