I respect Hillary, I can’t stand her, but I respect her because I think she is one tough bitch. I find it hard to stomach her as a feminist though. I do think Bill Clinton is a rapist; she has stood by him and viscuously defended him. I think she did that so she could ride his coat tails to power. Both pretty gross imo.May 19, 2017 at 11:40 am #687513
Why was she disappointing? Because the nation is full of misogynistic assholes? Warren could have put her hat in the ring if she wanted. Hopefully she does in the future but Hillary was supremely qualified in her own right. She came I to the public eye as a spouse. She stayed there by her own merit.May 19, 2017 at 12:08 pm #687517
Ivanka Trump is such the Serena Joy of our future Gilead theocracy. She’s convinced she’ll have a seat at the table, but guess what? To the Repubs she’s just a pretty woman selling what they need her to sell to get women into line.
Also the Handmaid’s Tale is amazing.May 19, 2017 at 2:03 pm #687549
She was disappointing because she lost. And she lost as she failed to excite voters. But since you asked … just a fee of the ways she proved disappointing.
Like Trump, she proved laughably natcissistic. Hell, her vapid, slogan was even more so than Forrest Dump’s. “Make America Great Again” was pie in the sky bullshit. But at least it wasn’t ALL sbout him… I’M WITH HER was so tone deaf. As was the fucking ARROW pointing to the RIGHT… Repeat THAT. To the RIGHT. Tone deaf. As was much of her campaign.
Praising Nancy FUCKING Reagan as a FUCKING fearless AIDS AWARENESS CRUSADER? Disappointment. Claiming that her CLEARLY SCRIPTED remarks was her whoopsie mispeaking. Bull fucking shit. Disappointment.
Still need more disappointment? She should have wiped the floor everytime she she debated somebody whi is most like mentally challenged. She didn’t.
She failed to be transparant. Hello — Goldman Sacks speeches. She failed by handfeeding Trump and his team this vapid silly teethless email fiasco. One that was ALL of her own making. Had she simply not done something so foolish as setting up the email server… something she was specifically told NOT to do.
And then rather than picking Sanders or ANYBODY even vaguely on the list of interesting options for her running mate, she went with…?!?! Somebody so fucking boring nobody I barely remember his name? Disappointing. As was his stance on abortion. Very.May 19, 2017 at 8:46 pm #687593
So she disappointed against the idea of an ideal politician? Super fabulous she is held to that standard. This was never about her emails. That was clear as day when it came to light that Pence’s public (PUBLIC) server he was using for confidentiality WAS actually hacked. And no one gave a fuck. And no one gave a fuck when Powell did it before her. She disappointed because the arrow in her sign pointed to the right? Or, Y’know, perhaps forward. Are you even being serious? Look at the list of her sins. Do I actually have to tell you what’s on Trump’s list? Trump fully said he sexually assaults women because he can. In what world isn’t that the end of it? Mocking a disabled reporter?
Not disclosing his conflict of interests? I can’t even have this conversation. How is it comparable? It isn’t. Sorry not sorry but that list of disappointments is weak. You may not like her as a person – maybe you don’t want to have brunch. Who gives a fuck. Hillary didn’t disappoint. She’s the most qualified person to ever run much less to run against a narcissistic predator with the vocabulary of a 5 year old. No offense to 5 year olds. Americans who didn’t show up to arguable the most important election in recent history disappointed. People who wrote in other candidates names disappointed. The Bernie supporters who stayed home and pouted disappointed. The how many millions of American that didn’t even know the Affordable Care Act was the same thing as Obamacare disappointed. For fuck’s sake. Google it. Your uneducated electorate disappointed. Your racist and misogynistic voters disappointed. I know you are no Republican. But don’t drink their kool-aid. I’m done. Hopefully the tide turns hard come mid terms.May 19, 2017 at 8:56 pm #687595
Trump is beyond terrible — and we are now saddled with him BECAUSE the DNC forced Hillary down our throats. Okay, THAT’s on the DNC. But Hillary fucking lost what should have been a god damn cakewalk… That’s disappointing. She was constantly botching things on the campaign trail. Don’t believe me? Fine the scathing autopsy of her campaign.May 19, 2017 at 8:58 pm #687596
Blame it on Bernie all you want, but SHE failed to get their votes. For good reason. She fucking didn’t even try. Sure she had mine — as I’m a realist. But I knew all along she would fucking lose. And surprise, surprise. She did.May 19, 2017 at 9:25 pm #687598
Actually you said he’d never win.May 19, 2017 at 9:39 pm #687600
A-fucking-men, Firestar.May 20, 2017 at 3:07 am #687615
That was in July. She hadn’t repeatedly performed so poorly in debates. Or picked such a lousy running mate. By september I was saying that HRC supporters were blind to the coming apocalypse.May 20, 2017 at 7:09 am #687631
Hillary was uninspiring. She didn’t move people emotionally in the way that Trump was connecting with blue collar workers. I saw how thrilled they were that someone was working for them. Of course that was hype and those workers are still waiting for theirs as the banks get lax regulations and tax breaks for the wealthy are the prime component of republican health care. I saw people who were genuinely excited to be on Team Trump.
In spite of all of that Hillary was way ahead until Comey came out with his little announcement and she tanked in the polls. I think given one more week after his second announcement and she would have pulled it out. After all that Comey did for Trump he’s been fired.May 20, 2017 at 7:13 am #687632
So you just didn’t vote? Talk about disappointing.
She lost, let’s say it again, by *a rounding error* in the key state(s) that swayed the election. The narrowest sliver. Regardless of “all her mistakes,” she likely would have won if RUSSIA had not meddled in the election, leaked her emails, spread disgusting fake stories about her, and as a result Comey made his bullshit announcement a week before the election. COME ON. She was the best candidate there was. She didn’t lose because she was such a stupid vain woman, as you want to believe. She lost because a powerful foreign force did not want her elected, and a bunch of you stayed home or wrote in Bernie.
