Except… Bannon is one of those who wants a civil war and the destruction of most of the federal government. He stirs up a lot of people with guns. The talk radio crowd is pushing civil war.August 21, 2017 at 4:27 pm #697809
Did anybody see the pic of the leader of the free world watching the eclipse?August 21, 2017 at 4:28 pm #697810

If eye safety was being explained by CNN, he probably thought it was fake news.August 22, 2017 at 1:58 pm #697917
Today I got a feel for why so many people support Trump despite everything. I was talking to someone at work today and they were troubled by all the people trying to tear down statues. It turns out she thought that a rabble tried to pull down the statue in Charlottesville. She had no idea that it was an alt-right rally. No idea that Nazis marched. No idea the KKK was there. No idea that men marched through the streets shouting, “We will not be replaced by Jews,” and “Blood and soil.” She thought the man who drove into the crowed and killed someone had been attacked and was just fleeing from the people who were trying to harm him and accidentally drove into a crowd.
It is amazing the view that alternative news can give.August 22, 2017 at 2:09 pm #697920
Does she read or watch any news? Or just take what she sees on Facebook at face value? I mean, I believe this was covered on Fox News for example, albeit in a biased way. And I’m sure it was on network news. She’s either lying to you or paying no attention at all.August 22, 2017 at 2:11 pm #697921
She isn’t paying a lot of attention and only picked up on protesters who want the statues torn down. I don’t know where she is getting her news but it was so stunningly incomplete I couldn’t believe it. She was very sincere, concerned about violence and destroying things.August 22, 2017 at 2:17 pm #697923
Um, ok. I just checked Fox, and yeah, it does talk about nazis, kkk, hate groups… the facts are there. She’s an irresponsible idiot.
Also, look, most of the people who will support Trump no matter what, are aware of what’s going on, and support it. They believe he’s right. They’re not under a rock like your friend. There’s a panel of them that Alisyn Camerota on CNN is always talking to. They know wtf is going on, and are mostly cool with it.August 22, 2017 at 2:23 pm #697924
She said she had seen video of people beating on the car before he ran through the crowd. I’m trying to figure out what she was watching. All I can find is the Daily Mail, which is an English tabloid, stating someone may have thrown a rock at the car before the attack.
I don’t know if there is something going around on Facebook.August 22, 2017 at 2:28 pm #697927
That’s so bizarre because if she’s a Trump supporter, she should have heard him talking about “many sides,” and seen the accompanying context re: the nazis, kkk, “alt-right” and moral equivalency being drawn between them and the supposed “alt-left.”
Is she evangelical and just paying no attention whatsoever to anything outside the church because she believes the world is going to hell anyway? I was reading about that…Evangelical Christians don’t see racism as a societal problem because they aren’t concerned about anything outside the church.August 22, 2017 at 2:30 pm #697928
She isn’t evangelical. I think she is mostly disconnected from the news and picking up small fragments. I don’t know if it is coming from Facebook or somewhere else.
