You guys! I got to go home early today!!

BECAUSE OF SNOW. Yup. We got 10cm (4 inches) over the course of the mid morning and early afternoon.
My pup likes snow, so her excitement is helping me be positive.

Ah crap. Posted before I was done.

I have a running race tomorrow..in the snow….up and down the sides of a ski hill. It’s going to be a sloppy one.

And I’m on a new “low FODMAP” diet…today is day 1 and I haven’t had time to get low FODMAP specific groceries…so I’m making do with what I have (like popcorn). Because all the things I like to snack on (cookies, snap peas, celery, pretzels) are all on the ‘no no’ list.

Ugh, I am so anvious and stressed out about all the storms we are having on the left coast! It’s really scary. There were tornados just a few hours south of us last night….and the big typhoon hasn’t even hit us yet.
And my mom is coming for a week, tomorrow.
Any happy thoughts are very appreciated.

Eh, the storm was nothing like what was predicted. The good news is now I have a 100ft extension cord and lots of firewood.
Motherstorm 2016 is a different story.

You all are having some crazy weather! My only weather issue was having to scrape ice off my windshield for the first time of the season. Now I’m just trying to hold off on turning the heat on until November. 🙁

I ran my first 5K today and somehow I managed to run the whole thing without stopping. I’ve never been able to do that, even while training, so I was pretty pumped.

I want to give a shout out to this hair styling product for curls that I found at CVS. I have more like waves, and not a ton of hair, and I used a little less than 1 pump, and it was the best product I’ve found yet for air drying. I think it would work well on curls too.

I mean I have long hair but it’s not that thick. I put some oil on after I applied this product too. It’s five-star.

Thanks for the tip. I’ve used the OGX Anti-Breakage Serum, Nourishing Coconut Milk when I blow dry my hair and I don’t want frizz, but I think it’s too thick for just air drying. It works well if I’m not using too much and I’m only applying it to damp hair.

This is off topic, but I’m kind of excited to see what James Charles brings to cover girl. I haven’t used that product in years, but as gimmicky as it is, I have to admit I’m excited to see a boy (not trans woman or girl) who likes to glam out.

I know, I think it’s cool! And I like drugstore makeup. It’s also what kids can actually afford, so having a kid spokesperson makes sense. I’d like guys to be able to wear makeup if they want to, so CG making it mainstream seems like a good thing.
