They do like him. Simone has loved him from day one, but she has her demons and isn’t always able to express her love the way she would like. If he cries in the middle of the night, she runs to his door in a panic. And she purrs when he pets her. It’s sweet.
Miles is a little more skittish, but he has warmed up a lot. He now goes into Jackson’s room sometimes just to sit next to him while he plays. He still doesn’t like to be handled (by jackson) too much — he’ll tolerate occasional pats — and gets nervous by jackson’s typical 2-year-old energy, but I think they will grow to be best friends eventually.
