HA! At first I thought patient had to be wrong for me, but then I thought about it, and I can actually be really patient at times/certain situations. I think all those years of working retail in college taught me that!
I saw the letters for patient too, but my mind also saw the IM at the front. I am definitely IMpatient.
The second word I saw was elegant though. If any actually elegant person saw how I show up for work with damp hair and no makeup, they would be horrified.
Dependent on what? My vanilla tea? My hairdresser? My paycheck? I don’t have a boyfriend to be overly dependent on! And as for patient…that’s wayyyy wrong. Passionate and witty are pretty close, though.
Sweet, outspoken, charismatic, and peaceful. Well….I can be sweet. I’m only outspoken if the situation calls for it otherwise I am more reserved because I just want everyone to be peaceful! I don’t think I fall into the charismatic category.
1. Secure – I don’t think I’m truly THAT secure, but I am more secure than I was in the past.
2. Thoughtful – If they mean pedantic, I can see it
3. Eloquent – I think some people may disagree with that one, I know there are moments that I disagree with it.
4. Restless – I hope to always be restless in my pursuit for happiness, so I fully agree!
Ha ha! Lethal. I can be, considering my history, and many other factors. I’m certainly lethal to zombies, bugs, stray rodents that I catch, and injured birds that I know aren’t going to be rehabilitated. Also to any animal I decide I want in my freezer. And to anyone who happens to break into my home (but they’re idiots, and really, isn’t it just “semi-natural selection”?).
Passionate? About certain things, I suppose I am.
Secure? *wiggles around a bit* I suppose I’m pretty sturdy in the physical sense. But otherwise, I’m not sure. I’ll have to ponder a bit.
Eloquent? Well, I can pontificate, elaborate and elucidate on quite a number of subjects, quite loquaciously – so I suppose that does fit.
I still think the whole thing is a “flim flam”. You see what you WANT to see more often than not.
The first word I saw was “LATINGO” and I thought, what the fuck is that? A Latino flamingo? I’m looking for the word “STUPID” but I don’t see it, proof this is all hogwash.
Elegant, Happy, Talented, and Restless. 3 for 4 – Elegant does NOT describe me! And I’m working SO hard at being more calm – but my nature is very restless.
Insecure, witty, sweet, and talented. That’s pretty much right. If “socially awkward” was there it would have been prefect considering I apologize to book cases when I walk into them, and turn a special shade of “Meg Red” when I talk to unfamiliar people. Or to guys….any guy…even the FedEx guy
I counted 41 descriptive words total. 30 were typically seen as positive traits, 14 typically seen as negative (with 3 that could be either/or depending on preference). That means you had a 73% chance or seeing a positive trait and 34% chance of seeing a negative one (not counting words that stick out easier than others, which in this case would be shorter words or letter-order that sticks out more than others). Reading horizontally, 70% of the words appeared (29). Of those, 20 were positive and 12 negative (69% chance of reading a positive vs 41% a negative). If you were scanning vertically, only about 28% of the words appeared (12). Of those, a majority were positive (10), which meant you had a 83% chance of reading a positive word (vs a 16% chance of negative, since there were only 2 of them).
A majority of the words were 8 character long, with half of them being negative and half being positive (12 total, 6 of each). The longest words were all positive (2 that were 13 characters) and the shortest words (3 that were 3 letters) were split (one negative, one positive, one that should be both). Here are the words and their perceived association:
I got “graceful,” “helpful,” “lovely,” and “charming.”
The most accurate is “helpful,” the least is “graceful,” and I’m not totally convinced of either of the others.
bethany November 10, 2011, 3:57 pm
My words were “patient”, “outgoing”, “sweet” and “stubborn”
I’d say I’m 3 out of 4. Not sure that anyone would ever describe me as sweet, but I have my moments, I guess.
bittergaymark November 10, 2011, 6:31 pm
I saw patient right away, too. Which I think we can all agree on here makes this decidedly inaccurate, eh?
bittergaymark November 10, 2011, 6:32 pm
Oh, and for further proof, the…uh, second word to jump out at me was — wait for it — HAPPY! So, there goes THAT theory…
Bethany November 10, 2011, 7:43 pm
HA! At first I thought patient had to be wrong for me, but then I thought about it, and I can actually be really patient at times/certain situations. I think all those years of working retail in college taught me that!

AlenaLynn November 10, 2011, 3:57 pm
What does it mean if one of the first four words I saw was “cud?”
I’m ruminating on that one.
Samantha November 10, 2011, 3:59 pm
Peaceful, reserved, naive, insecure…
ReginaRey November 10, 2011, 3:59 pm
Passionate, Dependent, Witty, and Patient.
Dependent on what? My vanilla tea? My hairdresser? My paycheck? I don’t have a boyfriend to be overly dependent on! And as for patient…that’s wayyyy wrong. Passionate and witty are pretty close, though.
Tudor Princess November 10, 2011, 4:00 pm
Elegant, peaceful, reserved, & dependent.
I’m not sure about elegant. I would like to think so, but I know I can be a huge tomboy so I’m a little hesitant to agree.
Matcha November 10, 2011, 4:05 pm
“Bogovedra” “thone” and “sweet” 😛
Matcha November 10, 2011, 4:08 pm
Okay, I’ll actually look for words: Lovely, independent and charismatic. I don’t think I’m particularly charismatic but I’ll take it.
I also saw “wrestles” but I’m pretty bad at it.
PFG-SCR November 10, 2011, 4:06 pm
In order: happy, compassionate, outgoing and stubborn.
Budj November 10, 2011, 4:10 pm
dependant, lovely, mental, and witty….
OK – that makes me sound like jekyll and hyde. Swapping murderous rage for relationship cray-cray, of course. (Don’t date me)
Matcha November 10, 2011, 5:03 pm
Technically, I think the word was ‘sentimental’ 🙂 I saw ‘rage’ after I picked out my last word, but I realized it was ‘courageous.’
Maybe that says something about me…
rangerchic November 10, 2011, 4:14 pm
Sweet, outspoken, charismatic, and peaceful. Well….I can be sweet. I’m only outspoken if the situation calls for it otherwise I am more reserved because I just want everyone to be peaceful! I don’t think I fall into the charismatic category.
honeybeenicki November 10, 2011, 4:16 pm
Mine were stubborn, peaceful, reserved and independent. I don’t know that I’d agree with peaceful. Or reserved most days.
Eljay November 10, 2011, 4:16 pm
Lovely, Loyal, Honest, Sweet….4 for 4! LOL!
Budj November 10, 2011, 4:17 pm
I smell a cheater….. (jk)
Eljay November 10, 2011, 4:58 pm
LOL!!! Ok, crazy was #4 but sweet was so close after!
Firegirl32 November 10, 2011, 4:17 pm
Loyal, insecure, mental and elegant. 3 out of 4 ain’t bad…no one has ever called me elegant. 🙂
Elle November 10, 2011, 4:21 pm
passionate, elegant, restless (really?), genuine. Afterwards, I saw secure, and only later I noticed the “in” before it. 1.5 out of 4, I guess.
ChicagoWoman November 10, 2011, 4:23 pm
Lazy, compassionate, outgoing, and naive…
Tracey November 10, 2011, 4:26 pm
Happy, patient, genuine, peaceful. Never thought of myself as patient, so seeing that second is kind of cool.
Tracey November 10, 2011, 4:28 pm
I just noticed that “patient” acutally had the “im” prefix on it. See? I’m not patient at all….
ReginaRey November 10, 2011, 6:02 pm
That explains a lot for me, too! haha.
Leigh November 10, 2011, 4:33 pm
Restless, Sweet, Charismatic, Secure
I didn’t realize it actually says INsecure until I read another comment, so I’m sticking with secure. Overall, pretty accurate for me, I’d say!
brendapie November 10, 2011, 4:38 pm
Outgoing, naive, lovely, thoughtful
I’m so shy and a bit of a recluse, but the rest are spot on!
thyme November 10, 2011, 4:52 pm
Ugh. The first word I saw was “dramatic.”
And I’m done. Dramatic people make my stomach turn, and I certainly hope I’m not one of them!
OK, the next word i saw was “peaceful.” Those two traits are mutually exclusive, no?
Theenemyofmyenemyisagrilledcheesesandwich November 10, 2011, 4:53 pm
“robs” ???
Kate November 10, 2011, 4:55 pm
I saw passionate, honest, naive, and lovely – not too bad 🙂
Betsy November 10, 2011, 4:58 pm
elegant, prey, charasmatic, loyal
prey? yikes!
PamplemousseRose November 10, 2011, 5:06 pm
charming, lovely, peaceful and prey… apparently I’m being hunted, but by who *insert ominous music*
OneSpiritEternal November 10, 2011, 5:14 pm
Ooohhh – I like mine! Peaceful, genuine, happy, and patient!
But then I saw Lazy, and the IM in front of patient. Good thing I saw the other words first! This one is fun!
SGMcG November 10, 2011, 5:17 pm
1. Secure – I don’t think I’m truly THAT secure, but I am more secure than I was in the past.

Elegant, Reserved, Genuine and Peaceful.
Say what?! Genuine I get. The others, not so much.
AKchic November 10, 2011, 8:29 pm
After looking a second time:
Lethal, Passionate, Secure, Eloquent.
Ha ha! Lethal. I can be, considering my history, and many other factors. I’m certainly lethal to zombies, bugs, stray rodents that I catch, and injured birds that I know aren’t going to be rehabilitated. Also to any animal I decide I want in my freezer. loyal was the first one i saw which is definitely one of the first words i use to describe myself
Addie Pray November 10, 2011, 5:42 pm

OMG! I almost spit my coffee this was so damn funny!
kali November 10, 2011, 5:54 pm
Lazy, genuine, charismatic and lovely. Three out of four maybe…
Britannia November 10, 2011, 6:18 pm
“Reserved’, “witty”, and “lovely”.
+5 to my self esteem 😀
Just Max November 10, 2011, 6:26 pm
In order: Patient, Elegant, Understanding, Mental.
I think something is broken. 😉
Kerrycontrary November 10, 2011, 7:54 pm
haha eloquent, peaceful, lethargic, restless. possibly true?
Caris November 10, 2011, 8:50 pm
first word i found: patient…. anyone that knows me will tell you this is NOT true lol… I’m a very Impatient person
Nadine November 10, 2011, 9:20 pm
I got rage, straight off. And now I’m mad.
lexie.b November 10, 2011, 10:01 pm
Sweet, loyal, naive, elegant
Yup.
Sam November 10, 2011, 10:19 pm
Patient – of the ER (or mental ward) is more like it!
This is my first post. I have been reading for quite awhile and feel like I know many of you. Hello to everyone.
Eljay November 11, 2011, 10:51 am
Hi Sam! Welcome to our world. 🙂
AKchic November 11, 2011, 1:57 pm
Welcome to the ward!
Funnily enough, I do answer my personal phone “psycho ward and daycare center, how may I direct your call?”.
caitie_didn't November 10, 2011, 10:32 pm
haha, cute! I got happy, peaceful, genuine and elegant in that order. Flattering indeed.
ncp November 10, 2011, 10:44 pm
Patient, elegant, reserved, and witty.
Ummm… what? I am NONE of these things! I CAN be patient on a good day if I’m well-rested and not hungry, but the other three? WITTY?
cj November 10, 2011, 10:50 pm
Impatient, genuine, elegant, sentimental.
I laughed when I saw impatient. That’s completely true. I like elegant though. Not a word I would pick, but I think it works!
Kate B November 10, 2011, 10:56 pm
Bay, love, overdramatic and one. Hm…
Red_Lady November 11, 2011, 1:29 am
Prey, peace, love, drama. I’m way too easy-going to have much drama in my life, and I’m not sure how prey applies to anything.
TheOtherMe November 11, 2011, 7:57 am
Love- Passionate- Eloquent -Sweet
parton_doll November 11, 2011, 9:39 am
naive, witty, thoughtful, passionate
Yep. That’s pretty much me.
mcj2011 November 11, 2011, 10:32 am
patient, reserved, peaceful and happy.
I don’t know about this. I’m happy and mostly peaceful but my patience is not what it once was.
DudeInChicago November 11, 2011, 11:00 am
Passionate, Honest, Elegant, Mental.
WTF?
TaraMonster November 11, 2011, 11:08 am
Ooo I like this game. My words were: charming, passionate, elegant, and genuine.
Passionate and genuine are very accurate. The other two, well, I sure hope they’re true!
Amy November 11, 2011, 11:24 am
Elegant, Happy, Talented, and Restless. 3 for 4 – Elegant does NOT describe me! And I’m working SO hard at being more calm – but my nature is very restless.
And a side note – I just LOVE DEAR WENDY!!!!!

I saw insecure, thoughtful, restless and sweet. I think its 4 for 4 about me, even though admitting the insecure part sucks!
I really liked the breakdown Meg!!
mf November 11, 2011, 12:32 pm
talented, naive, eloquent, prey.
Yeah, I’m a little worried about that last one.
jess of citygirlsworld.com November 11, 2011, 1:11 pm

I’m so blessed! Is this a trick??
jane November 11, 2011, 4:06 pm

Addie Pray November 11, 2011, 4:20 pm
Lol. And then you saw “indecisive” didn’t you?

Huh. Yup.
Oddy November 14, 2011, 12:12 pm
Sweet, thoughtful, insecure, overdramatic. Sweet, kinda, i guess on good days, then again anybody could be sweet. Either way interesting experiment:)
Miss Lynn November 14, 2011, 6:14 pm
