I’m a dog person all the way…I don’t like the way you can’t hear a cat when it’s walking around & that they ALWAYS land on their paws no matter what. It’s more of a creepy factor for me…lol
But, I will admit, my boyfriend had a cat that I really did like. Her name was Motley.

I’m pretty sure the landing on the paws is a myth. My cat mostly lands on her butt… then looks shocked about it.

“Pee” is a funny word because you can use it with a direct object, like “peed my pants” – but everyone knows you didn’t actually pee out pants – or with an indirect object, like “peed in my pants.” “Pee” + direct object always makes me chuckle for some reason. There, that’s my deep thought for the day. PS, TODAY IS THE MOST UNPRODUCTIVE DAY EVER. But side note: I turned TWO coworkers onto Dear Wendy and City Wendy today. You’re welcome.

I always wonder how people have their video cameras playing to record moments like this, since I tend to always “miss” the really good stuff that goes on. That “hug” must happen frequently enough that the person knew to have the camera ready to record it.

Wendy! I’m must admit I’m not a cat lover, BUT yesterday I witnessed something really terrible.
I was at my bf’s apt. & he was taking out the trash & saw this lady walking her dog (without a leash) & the dog began to attack this cat that was walking around. The owner did NOTHING to stop the dog & left the cat there with no regard. My bf ran called me to get the cat some water & we wrapped the cat in blanket & brought it to the patio with some water. We were trying to nurse it as it kept panting & couldn’t walk. My bf’s brother called EVERY possible city/county place & NO ONE would help! Well, about 30 mins later the poor kitty passed away (I was in tears this whole time & viciously trying to find this wretched dog owner).
The kitty did not look like a street cat (beautiful white persian, very clean & fluffy). My heart is broken thinking about the owners & the cat. It made me wonder about government funded programs for situations like this. (We couldn’t afford the possible vet bills if we took it to the vet).
Cruel people make me so angry!!
