I ordered something called a “Cucumber Melon Fizz” which was described as “cucumber, honeydew melon vodka, soda.” It was one of the best drinks I’ve ever had in my life (and I’m counting non-boozey stuff, too, like milkshakes and lemonade freezes). Drinking with Dear Wendy: Pomegranate Margaritas!

I’ll admit: my dorkiness is in full effect on this one, but don’t let that dissuade you from the drink itself. I made up the recipe and it’s pretty damn good if I do say so myself: For two Pomegranate Margaritas 3 shots tequila 2 shots fresh lime juice (reserve two slices of lime to rim glasses) 1 shot triple sec 2 shots pomegranate juice kosher salt Fill cocktail mixer will ice, tequila, lime juice, trill sec, pomegranate juice. Take margarita glasses out of freezer, rim outside with lime slice and kosher salt. Mix the cocktail shaker and pour equally into glasses.
