aw, i remember that day in the park! and randomly, that morning was the last time i had sex with my ex boyfriend. i just remember that b/c he took me to trader joe’s to pick up some pita bread and then he dropped me back off at the meetup and as things would have it we have never seen each other since. and starting now i’m going to try really hard to not remember these things! and to stop over-sharing.

Haha. I’m glad I won’t be the first weirdo to show up to a DW meetup hoping to make friends. 😉 After a year and a half, are you happy in Chicago? With friends? I was so pumped for my first handful of weeks here, but was so busy with moving, unpacking, and errands, that I didn’t have time to really stop to think, “Hey! I’m all alone! And it’s kinda lonely!” until pretty recently. And now I vacillate between, “Give it time, you’ll make friends eventually!” and “OMG, the city is so big and there are so many people and nobody wants to be your frand.” I went on a first date on Thursday and even though it was perfectly fine (no fireworks, but not a bad date), it made me feel REALLY lonely for some reason and I cried on the bus on the way home. Ha.

That said, it’ll be fun/weird meeting a bunch of people who I used to over-share to (like about how I cry on the CTA) and have cried to about super petty problems, breakups, exes.

Hahaha. Right? And everything runs out at once, I’ve noticed. I need the the same face cream as you. I’m just about out. I use their avocado eye cream. Just the replacement heads. I think I’m going on nearly six months. Eek! I need a new one. I huge pimple on my cheek just popped up, which prompted this need to buy one stat thing.

Right? I did like the samples of the avocado eye cream and it’s cheaper than the other stuff. I was using the brown/red eye and face cream, then switched the purple kind.. and summer etc I just use the cheap(er) one. Will probably have to get the purple one again come january. The midnight recovery is like the most amazing thing in the world and I kid you not, i only use some random olay night cream over it.
What cleanser do you use? I’ve been really happy with the Neutrogena ultra gentle foaming.

Oh if you have 1 hour and 15 minutes to kill, you’re not going to want to hang around waiting to meet at that Starbucks. That starbucks is by the train stations and dead on the weekends. So feel free to venture into the loop and river north and meet directly at Portillo’s. Or if you prefer I meet you early, I can too – just let me know what you prefer!
