A quick post to let you know that all four teachers’ holiday book drive registries have been fulfilled!! That’s about $1700 worth of books donated to 200 kids in less than 36 hours thanks to you and your generosity and your help spreading the word. Good job and warm fuzzies all around. Such a wonderful way to spread cheer during the holidays!!! I wonder since this is such a success would there be a way to do it for summer reading too? Charitable contributions are usually most needed once kids are headed into the summer months, and what a wonderful way to help a child get some summer reading in!
Just a thought… thanks so much for hosting this and allowing such a close connection between the dear wendy community and wonderful teachers & kids 😉

I was thinking about that, too — doing something biannually. Maybe an end-of-school-year kind of thing to get books to kids to read over the summer.
