We’ve been working on clapping for a while and this week Jackson finally connected all the dots in his head and made it happen (and he’s so pleased with himself!). Next up, I’m going to teach him how to make mama a ham sandwich and change the litter box.

never too young. My uncle taught me to make an old fashioned when I was 8 (wisconsin style)

I wish I could bottle his laugh and listen to it anytime I’m down. He is the cutest child alive.

My dog cleans the litter box for me…but does it by eating the cat’s poop. Just keep that in mind when you teach Jackson – maybe no mouth kisses right after.

This probably labels me as a bad babysitter, but I’ve realized that the boy I babysit for (13 months old) loves to watch Toddlers and Tiaras. I think it’s all the clapping and shiny things. He will clap after every performance with the people on TV. Are there any educational shows with clapping?
