It’s the Friday before Memorial Day, which means it’s time to get loosey-goosey. Here’s a fun little video from my Instagram Stories (made a couple weeks ago during a big storm in Brooklyn). Currently, we have lots of rain in the forecast for Brooklyn this weekend, but since I’m a little witchy when it comes to weather (as you can see in the video), I’m going to do a sun dance outside and bring on some rays for our summer kick-off holiday weekend.

Nice video! I’m a meteorologist and my area north of the city got hit particularly hard with a macroburst. I missed it since I was out of town for work…go figure, the worst severe weather my area has had in perhaps ever and I missed it! (Severe weather is my favorite type of weather…I of course never want anyone to get hurt or anyone’s homes damaged, but it’s fascinated me ever since I was little.)

Trade you! It is already so hot here. Of course as soon as I move it is cool in CA when it is normally warm. I love rain, assuming it doesn’t cause harm.
Crazy not such a weather fact but a storage facility near my house, which I didn’t even know was there, well hidden, burned to the ground yesterday. It was crazy and burned a good portion of the day. Now it’s still smoldering and it’s hot and humid mixed with smoke. So gross. Feel bad for anyone who had their stuff there. Luckily no one was hurt.

That video made me laugh.
I needed that. Thank you 🙂
