    I definitely get the generational divide on the #metoo movement. I recently got into an argument with my mother about Al Franken because she thought he was being unfairly punished. It really touched a nerve with me. She basically said that you could tell he was just joking in that picture (of him GROPING an UNCONSCIOUS woman) and that there would be no men left if we fired every one that had kissed an unwilling person. It made me really sad to think that she expects for men to act piggishly–to the extent that she sees it as basically acceptable behavior. Her main point was that Trump did worse things than Franken but is still in office, which is true, but if things were fair, we wouldn’t have to deal with pervasive sexual harassment in the first place.
