We’re on a plane heading to Charleston for a long weekend family vacation (or, as other parents might correct us: a family trip, since traveling with small children isn’t generally a “vacation”). Whatever, I’m just happy to have a change of scenery and check out a part of the country where I haven’t spent much time. I already asked a few weeks ago, but if anyone has any additional tips or recommendations for the Charleston area, let me know (and thanks, again, to those who shared some great recommendations already)! We’re flying back Monday, so posting over the next few days will be a little light. As always, I’m sure there will be some interesting conversations in the forums, so be sure to check in there, and you can follow our trip on Instagram if pics of beachy sunrises and other people’s lunches interest you.

Oh yeah! I had a work meeting just after it started, but I’m back to watching. Oh, and someone made a joke about the hearing during my meeting.

Meetings went well. We’ll see what happens. I liked the Director. In all my film and tv work — I’ve only worked with a woman director ONE OTHER TIME! (Welcome to Hollywood… So that’s EXCITING! Her Ideas for the series meshed nicely with mine. Plus the protagonist is a woman so its beyond fantastic they want to go with a woman in the director’s chair. 🙂

I love that area. Definitely take a trip over to Folly Beach. Its about a 20 min drive from downtown Charleston. Such a cute little beach town!
