Men and Women are Finally Equal… In Alcohol Consumption

New research analyzing data from four million people over the course of the last 120 years or so shows that the current generation of women has closed the gender gap on alcohol consumption. Congratulations, ladies. And in honor of this milestone in gender equality, here’s a Drinking with Dear Wendy video from days past that you may have missed the first time (and a promise to make a new one before Thanksgiving because, lord knows, many of you will need a drink or five at your family get-togethers).

For two Pomegranate Margaritas

3 shots tequila
2 shots fresh lime juice (reserve two slices of lime to rim glasses)
1 shot triple sec
2 shots pomegranate juice
kosher salt

Fill cocktail mixer will ice, tequila, lime juice, trill sec, pomegranate juice. Take margarita glasses out of freezer, rim outside with lime slice and kosher salt. Mix the cocktail shaker and pour equally into glasses.
