More Friday Fun: This Lady Is More Cat Crazy Than You (And Me!)

Reader/commenter, Addie Pray, sent me this video, saying, “Here’s a video that’s fitting, what with all this talk about online dating and cats. I just hope you don’t like cats this much, Wendy.” You know, I actually probably do, but I’m just not so … well, let’s use the word “impassioned” about my love. Also, I’m gonna bet this chick is not “3/4 man” like the rest of us seem to be…

She’s actually kind of cute when not bawling her eyes out or being otherwise insane.

Yay, I feel famous right now! I may not make Comment of the Week, but I got my name in a post, biatches! Tra la la la la tee da. I’d like to thank my family and friends, and my work for not restricting our internet access. And of course this nutjob who clearly could benefit from Wendy’s “personalized online dating profile makeover” gig.

I won’t lie, I read it quickly and saw “Addie Pray sent me this video” and I totally thought it was a video of you. I was like, WHY would anyone send this in?! I am immediately going and thumbing down every one of her comments for this.

Yikes, that’s scary; I’m glad you realized that is not me. To everyone else: THAT’S NOT ME! I mean, I don’t even like cats, duh. Plus, I wear glasses so people will think I’m smart. But you wouldn’t have known that.

So, is she a wannabe actress or someone who is willing to do anything on a dare?

I call BS. There is no way this is an actual video bio not just a stunt. Even if this was what came out first when you turned on the camera, why would you go on to post it? Why wouldn’t you just delete it and try again…maybe not bring up the cats thing? As another reader wisely noted a few letters ago, the internet has the advantage of a delete key.

Don’t get me wrong, I believe that someone could love cats this much (I probably do…), but I don’t believe that anyone could get that worked up over it and then be so stupid as to put that with deliberation as their online dating video bio.

Also, she starts crying again when she starts talking about running.

Agreed. As funny as this video is, kinda thinking it’s not real. Who knows though.

I’m calling FAKE on this video. You can be rejected from joining eHarmony after you take that 258(!) question survey if demonstrate a bad number on their dysthymia scale. Her constant crying about cats could be classified by the eHarmony reviewer as a mood disorder that would get her labelled as unsuitable for their service.

Out of all the dating websites out there, why would you want to go to one that discriminates on sexual orientation anyway?

Wow…canNOT be real. But if it is…way to embrace the cray-cray! I mean, she really went for it. I can’t imagine why she’s single…

She is way too good on camera and too pretty (as much as I hate to say it) for this to be an amateur. She’s also pushing her voice too hard and she slips up a couple times in the beginning, as per my vocal coach wife. I can also pick out a decent ‘actress fake cry’ when I see one. Good effort, though.

For real you think she’s pretty, spaceboy? Eh.

But I think it’s fake too. Here’s another piece of evidence: She says her name is Debbie. The youngest “Debbie” I know is 35. She’s just too young to be a real Debbie.

The youngest Debbie I know is 25. And I know another that is 26.
I didn’t know Debbie was an old lady name.

I call fake on this too! But I did really enjoy it- especially the part about how she loved cats in baskets and on rainbows 🙂

Fake or not, there are NOT any words to describe this amount of craziness.
IDK, the cats on rainbows and their little cat ears was hilarious.
