Good morning, happy Monday, and Shanah Tovah to those who celebrate the Jewish New Year (check out what I made for the occasion). Some of you may have noticed over the weekend that I launched a new mobile version of the site. If you haven’t seen it yet, the best way to view it is on your smart phone (the desktop version remains the same for now). This was a long time coming and I’ve tried many, many versions of sample designs over the past couple of years that I wasn’t satisfied with, but I’m happy with this one (courtesy of my new ad network, AdThrive, which I was recently accepted to) and I hope you like it too. I still need to work out a few little design kinks, but this is pretty close to a final version (for now, anyway).
There was a question over the weekend about logging in, and to do so you simply go to the menu tab (right side of the header, the icon that looks like three white horizontal lines) and click that. Then click “Login,” which is the fourth tab. From there, you can either register if you haven’t yet, or scroll to the bottom of the page, bottom left, where it says “Log In.” Fill in your username and password and you’ll be good to go. You can access the forums through that same menu icon on the right side of the header. On the left side of the header is a search tab that you can use to search the site. I just did a search for “Ramona” and it turned up five results (including the glossary of DW terms, which I need to finish!).
Anyway, as I said, I hope you like this version. I know I can’t please everyone, but I think this will at least be much easier to use. If you’re having a problem with any function or if there’s a design element that’s particularly standing in the way of your enjoyment of the site (I’m working on the spacing of ads, fyi), let me know. I can’t promise to make it perfect for everyone, but I will certainly do my best to appeal to the majority.
In other exciting news, Addie Pray is in labor (or, depending on when you read this, she’s had her baby!)!!
