Hi from Missouri! We flew into Kansas City on Saturday and spent a couple days with friends there, and yesterday we arrived in Springfield to visit my parents. I thought I’d have a new column up for you by now, but I didn’t have wifi for a bit and now I’m enjoying some down time with the fam. It’s been a summer of limited childcare, so it’s nice to have some extra hands and a little time to relax. We’re taking a long break this time – won’t return home until the end of next week — and posting will be sporadic in the meantime, but I promise to post some new content at some point. In the meantime, the forums are up as always, and here are a few posts you may have missed in the past (and if you’d like to follow some of our trip, I update more frequently on Instagram).

Yeah but it was cool then. My friend Karen who was super spoiled had them done. I think she was wearing a denim shirt that’s now back in style.

I think it was an early birthday gift for my 17th birthday. I look like a 12-year-old dressing up like a grown up, not a cool almost 17-year-old… (not that I was cool…).

I wanted to get Glamour Shots so bad but my mom couldn’t afford it. Now I wish i had just for a good big hair pic. That outfit is exceptional Wendy.

I think you look nice. The big brows are back. Your teeth were straight and your complexion was clear. No perms to grow out. But I would have died if my parents had taken out half a page of me in my year book 🙂

And so ironic how much hair I had- th brows, the sideburns I cut short every week. And now I have alopecia and have lost all of that!
