Program Note: Site Redirect

A bunch of you have called my attention to the redirects you’re experiencing to other sites when you click on a headline link. I’m very sorry about this and after having my developer look into it and researching the problem myself, I’ve determined it’s an issue with Google Adsense and I am looking into what I can do on my end to stop the redirects from happening on DW. An immediate solution would be to remove the Adsense ads I have in place, but I rely on that revenue to help keep the lights on around here (and after some pretty high website-related expenses, both expected and unexpected, over the last six weeks, I really can’t afford to cut my revenue at all right now). I am hopeful Google will fix the issue quickly or that I will find a stopgap solution on my own (like banning the sites some of you have been redirected to from my Adsense account; please feel free to update that list in the comments). Just know that I am aware of the problem and I am actively seeking a solution that won’t cut my revenue in half (but I’ll remove the Adsense ads, at least temporarily, if I can’t figure out another solution).
