“If you go for lunch with your girlfriends, you produce the same chemical you would to orgasm. We feel relaxed, secure and happy – the same way we do in a relationship.” — Simone Bienne, British sex and relationship expert.
New study time! This one has found that women release oxytocin – the so-called “love hormone” that helps women reach orgasm – when they spend time with their female friends. This may help explain the findings of last week’s study in which we learned that men are now more eager to settle down and start a family than women are. … Ladies brunch, anyone?

I feel like so many studies recently are things like “OMG X is like an orgasm!!!!” when all tehy really mean is that we find them enjoyable.
and frankly, no shit, Sherlock.

Due to damage from “mean girls” as a kid I have found that I often preferred the company of men due to their simplicity and non-catty ways. There is not much that is uglier than the social aggression and cruelty of some girls.(Read Odd Girl Out, Mean Girls, etc.) It is only as an adult that I am appreciating the company of women more. I cannot say I am at that “post orgasmic” state yet but working on it. Still learning to trust that women won’t stab me in the back.

Though I must admit that I probably spend way too much time talking on FB with the nicer girls I went to school with back then…. so…… who knows?

Man I love the montly luncheon with my girls (friends or sisters). We talk about any and everything. Comparing it to something like an orgasm, ahh, hell no. But I do feel a sense of accomplishment when it is over and I can return home to peace and quiet.

Maybe that explains all of the excessive boob touching and ass slapping in my group of girls…
