What does your parents’ approval mean for you? What happens if you marry someone they don’t approve of? I’m guessing you and I come from different cultures, but pre-marriage, when I thought of my parents not approving of someone I was dating, I’d be disappointed but would ultimately think of it as their issue to deal with not mine. I wouldn’t about them cutting me out of their lives but maybe this is a concern for you?
