I once had a guy ask me to be exclusive and then I never heard from him again. (LOL.) Ghosting was my least favorite part of dating. In a perfect world, everyone would have the emotional maturity to send a text if they’re not into it or changed their mind, but the reality is, that’s not what happens. It sounds like he probably liked you as much as he knew you and had a good time on the first date, so he kissed you and suggested meeting again, but has since changed his mind… and there could be a million reasons why. For one thing, it sounds like it’s a bit of a drive to get together. I don’t think speculating why is too helpful, though I understand your frustration. I got ghosted a bit while I was dating. Remind yourself you want someone who can communicate what he’s feeling if it’s getting you down, and onto the next!
