There was an article a few months ago in the NYT, I think, as to why designer bags have increased in price. I can’t remember the reasons. It also touched on the poorer quality.

I’ve always wanted to own a vintage, red Chanel.

Even the vintage ones are going up in price according the article. I do remember that tidbit. But I haven’t looked lately. A few years ago, it was $5k ish for vintage.

If it wasn’t NYT, it may have been the Cut.
