@Anon – good luck. Subs do make a good daily rate in a lot of places, but remember the daily rate is likely more than a teacher’s daily take home but when you add in benefits, I would hope it’s roughly equivalent. Don’t forget that most teachers only get paid 10 months a year. They don’t get paid for summer vacation. If they work over summer they’ll get paid for that separately.
