Reply To: The Indictment

I’m a lawyer, though not a criminal defense one or prosecutor, and my take is that Trump looks like he is in A LOT of trouble. Jack Smith is not playing around and he’s got both the facts and the law on his side. All Trump’s got is hysterical screaming. Unfortunately for us all, his hysterical screaming seems to influence at least 1/3 of this country, so who really knows what a jury will do? I’m growing optimistic, though.

I wish the would televise the trial but that’s not generally done in federal court. We all do need to see the evidence laid out, though. Especially the afore-mentioned intractable 1/3.
