In any case, I’d also be annoyed at a boyfriend if he did this. You don’t have to confront him, but you can talk to him.

I might be majorly projecting but I’ve had two exes whose insecurities were exacerbated by my success. One was a boyfriend I had in school and he didn’t like it when I was doing better than he was. He’d make things feel competitive. If you and your bf are in a similar industry and you’re doing well where he’s stagnant, it may be bringing out his jealous side and insecurities.
