Wow, I had no idea! I am actually 40 and was on birth control for almost all of my 30s. I’m not sexually active right now because I’m just trying to get better and lose the weight, not actively dating, but literally no doctor has ever said anything about that to me at all. Goodness. I mean, I’ve only in the past couple of years become overweight (was an average weight before) because pulmonary hypertension causes me to retain fluid, so maybe that’s why, IDK. But I guess it’s good I stopped taking it! And I’m so sorry you had that experience!
